Characters: Gliocas, Durand, Zyrax and Jaqen
After finishing off the demons from the last session, the party and dwarves started to repair the city, Bury and pray for the dead. Eventually, the party grew so tired they had to rest in the same dorms beside the crushed Hall.
After the long needed rest, the party went out back in the forest running into Obi Jon Wick Kanobi and his dog, who had managed to slay many demons near the shop he was visiting, saving many dwarf lives.
He explained to the party that he had been shopping to buy tools for the party to gather resources. Now that the party was safe, he suggested for them to go on a gathering expedition to the outskirts of the ironbark forest which the party obliged.
First off was herblore with only Zyrax rolling high enough for the first resource loot of the campaign and discovering the first codex entry! Following that, the party ventured forth with Obi Jon racing ahead as the party murdered some small rabbits to try out skinning. One skinned skillfully by the young dragonborn and the other completely butchered by the experienced ranger.
Obi Jon once again raced off from the group, leading them into a cave where the party came across a big pile of animal bones, including a bear tooth. Unfazed by this discovery, the party gave mining a go gathering several ores which resulted in disturbing the ‘you guessed it’ cave bears.
After a little light BBQing and zapping curtesy of Zyrax and Gliocas, Kevin biting some ankles, the rouge Jaqen and ranger Durand executed the bears in fashion with only the two magic users taking a few scratches from the bears.
With the bears dead and throughly skinned unlike Durands rabbit, the party made haste to a clearing by the river to make camp. Obi Jon showed the party how to cut wood, but clearly none of them listened as all their axes pinged off the armoured tree. Fortunately, the tree couldn’t stand up to Artimis’s brute strength as he lopped off a massive section for the camps fire.
While Obi Jon started the fire, Artimis took the party to the river to help them fish with the party succeeding rolls to get herring and shimmerscale fish. After having a great meal of fish and bear meat the party listened to Obi Jon explaining the alchemy skill which put them all into a peaceful sleep.
